If you love tomatoes like we do, then you won't want to miss this event! It's a tomato competition, it's a tomato-tasting extravaganza, it's fun for the whole family!
As you may have heard, we went "out on a vine" this year and grew over 70 varieties of tomato plants for our Garden Center. Our co-hort, Monte Anderson of Wilmington College Ag Dept, joined us out on that vine and grew a boat load of additional varieties on the college farm. |
With so many varieties, both heirlooms and hybrids, we're really curious how they all grow and taste. If you are, too, then come check them out at our Tomadah Paradah 2010 event!
We'll have over 70 tomato varieties to sample, contests to enter, experts on hand for your gardening questions, information booths on cooking, canning, and freezing tomatoes, and so much more.
